Collective - 
it is treated as singular when the collection is thought of as a whole - and as plural when the individual members are thought of as acting separately

The Collective is a virtual, and real, organization of Leaders who have completed the Level I Coaching Program and have committed to be a part of the collaboration.

The Collective is a Social System.
Collaboration, Support, and Networking is how the social system is managed.
