Thoughts – 2009

Finding Voice is Finding You

Gordon was resolute with his encouragement that I listen to my voice as I began my book project. Let me be clear; it is because of Gordon’s encouragement that I am writing the book at all. He saw my fear and pulled me right through it as he focused me on my own voice.

Finding my voice was finding me. Connecting with voice was finding who I am in a larger encounter. Embracing voice I began to fully understand I was not to experience the larger encounter alone. It is meant to be shared.

The call we hear is to be who we really are at the core. If who you must be feels wild, it is because the true self has been caged; imprisoned by a limited understanding of the call.

You gain your freedom when you break from time as a judge and restriction. Breaking this hold, you may move with meaning and purpose. You are free to move now; not at some point “when.” You are no longer bound by judgments interacting with time and causing you to use restrictive language; “I will live with more purpose when …”

Voice gives power to the “no” so often required to keep your voice free and your decisions and choices on the path of purpose.

Your voice belongs to you. It is a gift. As with any gift, you derive joy in using it.

Inclusiveness dedicates the impact of your voice to everyone. The flow of intent to commitment has set your voice on the path of impact. Your impact is bounty from the attraction of voice and purpose.

Amplify voice and attract.
