In the insight of my client’s statement, I realized she was seeking acceptance and appreciation for her real self. She was discovering the most important acceptance is self-acceptance. She insightfully understands that pleasing others is impossible if we are not free to be real and if we are bound by what we think others want us to be.

Authenticity removes the fear from accountability and responsibility.

Love makes you a leader. To love is to know the story of another. To know the story of another, one must listen. To listen is to love.
